Birds in the Funnies- Parrot Day

A couple of parrots in the funnies today to compare & contrast. In Monty, the parrot is a recurring character- funny, but has little to do with being a parrot. Meanwhile over in Speed Bump, we have a high-tech twist on the idea that parrots are mimics & don't understand what they are saying. (Although this isn't probably the case- take N'kisi, for example, an African Gray Parrot with a vocabulary of about 950 words that he uses in context and even a sense of tense...)
